Your data is stored using Supabase, a cloud-hosted database platform. Supabase infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and employs industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
PuppyHQ uses OpenAI's API to power AI-driven features such as health tips, activity suggestions, and general pet care recommendations. When you interact with AI features, relevant data (such as your pet's breed, age, or health information) may be sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. We only share the minimum data necessary to generate a response.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, export your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

PuppyHQ provides AI-generated recommendations, tips, and insights for informational and reference purposes only. These are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The AI features in PuppyHQ do not constitute medical or veterinary advice. The recommendations generated by the App's AI are produced by a third-party language model (OpenAI) and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific pet's situation.
By using PuppyHQ's AI features, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer and agree that AI-generated recommendations are for reference only, and that the App's creators bear no responsibility for actions taken based on such recommendations.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using PuppyHQ ("App", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and the creators and operators of PuppyHQ ("we", "us", "our").
PuppyHQ is a pet management application that allows users to track pet information, health records, activity logs, and photos. The App also provides AI-powered recommendations and insights using third-party AI services. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use PuppyHQ. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You retain ownership of all content you submit, upload, or create within the App, including pet information, photos, health records, and activity logs ("User Content").
By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This licence terminates when you delete your content or your account.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App's systems, servers, or databases; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; use the App to transmit malware or harmful code; scrape or harvest data through automated means; impersonate any person or entity; or use the App in any manner that could damage or overburden our infrastructure.
PuppyHQ uses OpenAI's API to provide AI-generated recommendations and insights. By using these features, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by OpenAI in accordance with their terms and policies.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated output. AI recommendations may contain errors, may be outdated, and may not be suitable for your pet's specific needs. You acknowledge and accept this risk.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all other proprietary materials, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the App, you grant us an unrestricted, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use such feedback for any purpose without obligation to you.
PuppyHQ may offer premium features or subscriptions through in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store via StoreKit and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
Refund requests for in-app purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
We reserve the right to modify pricing for premium features at any time. Changes will not affect existing active subscriptions until their renewal date.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PuppyHQ and its creators, operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or any action taken based on AI-generated recommendations provided by the App.
The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (including Supabase and OpenAI). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms and policies.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and PuppyHQ regarding your use of the App, and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
